Staff, students and friends of Trinity gathered together at an Evensong service led by Trinity’s Warden, Associate Professor Andrew McGowan.
Dorothy took up her new position in March 2011 as Dean of the Theological School, and Ray was acknowledged to his position as Director of Ministry Formation and Sambell Lecturer in Pastoral and Public Theology, which he commenced in September 2010.
Dorothy was previously a full-time lecturer at Trinity College as the Frank Woods Distinguished Lecturer in Biblical Students and is also a New Testament scholar and an Anglican priest.
‘Working with new people is a great delight as now I interact with many more different parts of the College,’ Dorothy said.
Ray assists with helping students develop their skills for future ministry, and also works with Dorothy in the administration, promotion and marketing of the Theological School.
Trinity’s Warden, Associate Professor Andrew McGowan, welcomed Dorothy and Ray to their appointments at the Theological School.
‘I’m delighted to formally acknowledge Dorothy and Ray to their positions; they both express incredible enthusiasm for what we do and teach at Trinity and are passionate about passing that on to our students,’ said Andrew.
