Dr Gayle Allan

Gayle Allan has been working at Trinity College since 2008. She was a Literature lecturer in the Foundation Studies Programme before taking up the position of Associate Dean at the Residential College in 2015. Gayle's PhD thesis is on representations of women’s jealousy in Shakespeare’s plays and her research interests include Shakespeare and early modern drama, film and adaptation theory, feminist and post-colonial studies, Gothic literature and eLearning. Gayle has published a number of articles in these fields and regularly attends and speaks at national and international conferences. She also guest lectures at the University of Melbourne and La Trobe University. Gayle co-edits the Marlowe Biliography On-line, and is a committee member of ANZSA (Australia and New Zealand Shakespeare Association) where she co-edits their bulletin.
