Beyond Woop Woop: John Kelly's Antarctic Paintings

The Warden of Trinity College, Professor Ken Hinchcliff, is pleased to invite you to the launch of our next captivating exhibition in The Professor Sir Joseph Burke Gallery.

This collection exhibits sketches and paintings of acclaimed artist John Kelly who spent three months as artist in residence in Antartica, the harshest and most remote place on Earth.

John will regale us with stories from his adventures in the Antarctic and discuss the complexity of capturing the beauty and majesty of ice through paint.

We look forward to welcoming you on this special occasion.
